Magical Couple Photoshoot with Jennifer and David and Finn their furbaby.

There is no better gift in my eyes than a photography voucher. Jennifer and David were gifted a couples session with me for their engagement gift and there must be no better way to remember such thoughtful gift and such a precious moment in time - their engagement.

You might not see me post a lot of couples sessions, yes a lot of my photo sessions are families with their little humans running or the welcoming baby story - maternity and newborn sessions, a niche I adore and capture well. Although any love story, is a story I love to tell through photos. There is nothing more magic than that smile, that kiss, the feeling you feel when you see a photo that makes your heart warm.

Something that was so important to Jennifer and David was sharing this special moment with their furbaby Finn. Even on their pre photo shoot questionaire they attached the most adorable photo of the three of them, proud as punch. I loved it and couldn’t wait to see what magical images we would make!

Finn was adorable, but oh Jennifer and David were even more adorable. I’ll admit they were nervous as heck but with me as their photographer - there was nothing to be nervous about. I’m as dorky as they come, so whilst they are worried about what they look like or what they need to do when they arrive to our beautiful location in Bacchus Marsh, quickly they realised Jess is chill and we can relax a little - phew!

No awkward moments, we talked through the whole session and if something felt awkward to them I was quick to say “Feels awkward but looks awesome guys! Your killing it!”. They both really relaxed and I could feel them trusting my creative vision. Jen and David opened up and the chat was flowing, letting me in on a little joke they have at home that sweet Finn gets a little jealous of,  just like a little toddler. So cute!
